INQUIRYEXHAUST SYSTEMS
Exhaust system for the Porsche Cayenne V8 Turbo (958).
Made of 1.4828 (T309) stainless steel. The system can be controled via the on-board Porsche control system. If your car don´t has exhaust valves, it´s necessary to order the programmable control unit.
With use of the control unit the system is freely adjustable and pressure-controlled. The control unit gives you the ability to adjust the pressure you want to drive. In this way you can get the maximum available power. Pressure behavior which costs power will be regulated out.
This exhaust system combines all advantages in one package: Exact control about the driven pressure at any scenario. Thus you get maximum power in any case plus a sreaming racing sound.
Most valve controlled exhaust-systems open the valves depending on the driving speed or engine revolutions. But the engine is neither influenced by speed nor by revolutions, but by pressure, which increases according to the revolutions.
The control unit has control-LEDs and a RDS transmitter, which sends the values and functions to the car radio display. It can be adjusted by the remote controller (key fob). You get also the software , by which all values can be shown and all adjustments can be done. The system works in three languages: German, Italian and English.
a) Cruise-Mode: The valves will open later.
b) Sport-Mode: The valves will open earlier.
c) Open-Mode: The valves open instantly at any time or situation.
By using the Cruise-Mode or Sport-Mode you can control the threshold for opening the valves. You can further set the favorite in which the car starts.
A big advantage of this control unit is the ability to recognise the driving style. In case the driver hits the pedal agressively, our unit will recognise the pressure that builds up and opens the valves immediately. Under moderate conditions the valves will open later.
The CES-3 is able to measure GPS and g-force data. Those data can be read out partially already by our software. In release 3.020 you have the option to display the vendor’s name on the radio-display. Please contact us in case of interest. This device is in permanent development. The following versions will be able to read out those data in their full complexity. So stay tuned for future software updates, later available in our download section.
We expressly point out that this exhaust system comes without the approval of the German TÜV authority. For this reason it is not allowed to use this exhaust on public roads in Germany and also partly not allowed in some other countries. Please observe the legal requirements in the respective country.
INQUIRYCES-3 programmable valve control unit
Reworked backpressure valve control unit, which is freely programmable. This control unit provides the possibility to individually program the pack pressure you would like to drive in. This way, you can reach the maximum engine performance. The portion of back pressure resulting in a loss in performance is filtered out. Therefore, this controller combines all advantages in both, the lower and higher range of revolutions (rpm), since the back pressure can be exactly dosed to enable the engine to gain the maximum performance.
This new control unit doesn´t have a display anymore. Instead it has control-LEDs and a RDS transmitter, which sends the values and functions to the car radio’s display. a) in Cruise mode – the exhaust gas valves open later
b) in Sports mode – the exhaust gas valves open earlier
c) in Open mode – the exhaust gas valves remain open
In both, the cruise mode and sport mode, you can individually program when the exhaust valves shall open. One big advantage is that the control unit recognizes the driver’s operation characteristics. If the driver accelerates aggressively, this is identified by our device by the kind of back pressure that is generated, and the exhaust valves open immediately. Usual acceleration results in a later opening of the exhaust gas valves.
